Well, I tore down the compost pile from last fall and dressed two of my beds with it. The tomatoes and peppers are coming along nicely.

Watched all your fishing vids yesterday. Good stuff man and very entertaining. I was laughing pretty hard at the one vid when you had all the line tangles. Kayak fishing is fun but there are times it's just a disaster

My off season plan was taken care of Friday.
Had this hernia for 16 years ........... NO MORE HERNIA--
Still trying to get energy back up and that ain't going so well but when I get back to full stride, I'm not going to miss the HERNIA!!!!! YEEEEEEEHAAAAAWWWW!

No hernia but have an enteroscopy scheduled next Thursday. Have had chronic heart burn/acid reflux since the new year that popped up out of the blue. Prescriptions keeping it manageable but it's been going on too long. Doc suspects it may have been triggered by some steroids I took in December for a wrist injury I sustained in the fall. Man I'm only 34 *** is happening lol... definitely a long way from 20 when I felt invincible and nothing could keep me down!

I have the reflux issue also. Reflux actually caused hernia to form in the esophagus causing food to hang. I went with this for awhile causing the wall of the esophagus to get as thin as a latex glove later causing the esophagus to tear,,,then an emergency surgery leaving a scar that runs around the shoulder blade and half down the rib cage.
Glad you are going to take care of this reflux before it causes a lot more.

D_rek, if you don't mind, I'm going to say a prayer for you as soon as I "POST".

Now, after follow up with doc, on hernia operation, we found internal bleeding which is causing an unreal amount of bruising and pressure on the stomach that is causing me to feal full (not hungry). I'm weak and shaking due to blood loss.
Doc is scheduling a CT scan and blood count test for a blood transfusion and to see where the bleeding is located today.
If you are a praying person please keep D_rek and I in your prayers.

Dang sorry to hear!! And esophageal tear is exactly what I'm hoping to avoid. When I was in college close friend of mine had been taking Adderall to stay awake and stay focused. Side effects from taking the drug caused her to get really bad acid reflux and it burned a hole right through her esophagus. She was very ill for several months, had to have surgery, and missed the remainder of the school year. Was definitely very scary for her. Thankfully she's doing well now.

Prayers sent and stay strong brother!
