Nice buck Dave! When you shoot a bigger one you need to take a photo with you and your saddle with the deer for the contest! Sorry its in the rules! If you have trouble with it, get creative and I can make it work because we're on the honor system, just want to make it fair for everyone.

No worries ..... Was doing the contest just for fun anyways. I should have read the rules...........Sorry team 10 .... Please don't kick me of the island yet.... still have OH and TX hunts.

Team 3 has got a buck down! Theres a close up of his rack, i think he will only count as a 6 pointer based on contest rules, but let me know, as he may qualify as a 7/8!

Red, I checked today when I was processing rest of the meat, its just over a 1/2". So count it as a 6 pointer I think, right?

I thought I had a date with an 8 point last night that my mother in-law has been seeing everday for the last couple weeks. Of course I got stood up. Maybe we can hook up this weekend.

Hitting the woods all day tomorrow and Sunday. Also took monday and tuesday off of work. If my private land parcels aren't producing i'll be going in blind to some public land near me. After that i wont be back in the saddle until after gun opener and depending on what happens then maybe not for the rest of the season!
