Cant get my other pic to load. That point on the rt side is actually a 3rd main beam starting. Theres a point to the right of it that's an inch long. Just put him as a twelve if ya cant make it out.

Awesome buck, congrats! I'm being fairly lax with the rules cause I trust everyone so I'll go with 13 ;) Great job!

I have a couple new bucks and a doe to enter for Team 7.

On what was to be my last Michigan bow hunt before leaving for Kansas (Thursday, Nov. 13th) I took a very respectable 10 point in Michigan.

On Nov. 27th in Kansas I took a huge doe for the farmer that gives me free permission.

On Nov. 28th in Kansas (on my annual 10 day out of state hunt) I took a beautiful 10 point at a distance of 10 yards on a morning hunt on the edge of a bedding area.

My buck tags for home (Michigan) are filled and there is a slight chance of going to Ohio (but I doubt I will have time) with my brother. Received some free permission from a couple guys in Ohio when I was down in Columbus this spring doing seminars at their Deer Expo.

Still have a few doe permits in Michigan and will likely fill them for my daughter.

Also arrowed a couple coyotes. Do they count for anything?

John

John- Congrats on some awesome bucks! And that is a HUGE doe! Coyotes don't count for anything, but I'm always glad to hear when a coyote hits the dirt ;) .

And just like that team 7 catapults into first place! I'm going to have to get busy this late season to try and keep up!

Great deer John!

What are your thoughts on the hunting season in Michigan so far this year? A lot of people I have spoken to including myself feel it has been a very slow season in SELP for deer hunting. I hunt St. Clair, Huron, and Oscoda Counties. The most deer I've seen In a single sit has been 6 and sign is way down at almost all my spots.

A lot of people are blaming it on the large amounts of standing corn in agricultural areas and the harsh and extended winter we had. Have any thoughts you'd like to share? And how you think the late season will play out?

Personally I feel those that have bedding areas adjacent to standing corn have it made. I'm holding out for my little honey hole heavily Oaked woodlot to produce late season for me - provided some of the standing crop comes down.

Long story with this one. I found him laying in creek almost two weeks after I shot him. I got some cam pics I need to post op to show you guys.
Not sure if this one counts as I didn't have my web with me for pic. 9 points.

Congrats Milkweed! Awesome deer! Don't worry about the web, we are kinda using the honor system this year lol.

And team 7 is quickly pulling away from the pack...

Way to go team 7! I've passed on a bunch of small bucks this season. I haven't even shot a doe because a friend of mine gave me two that he didn't have room for in his freezer. 2 more weekends left. Hopefully I can punch my tag and contribute!

I'll be back at it this weekend as well

I've been out a bit also but I have 12 days off before starting a new job in january so I'm hoping to put some good time in. Always looking for bucks but I'll be looking for some does too. I have an itchy trigger finger!
