One-Stick: Novix Mini and Wingman

Has anyone personally taken a Novix Mini and out a Wingman on it to turn it into a one stick setup? I’m thinking of giving one sticking a try. Any suggestions?

I got a Wingman and added the cam cleat, one stick rope, 3 step aider, EWO standoffs and pull up. Only tried it a few times for short periods of time but really liking it. I guess if you wanted it shorter like the mini, it’d be easy enough to just cut it down a little to whatever length you want. I’d be concerned if the stick portion were too short that you’d be scraping your shins on the platform though

So you changed the original stand off out for the EWO model? Why did you do that?

They give you a little more room. Maybe an inch further from the tree and they bite like a junkyard dog

That’s what I thought it would do by the looks of it. Can you send me a picture of your setup?

The top standoff has to be a rotating one due to the platform. I got one of each. I’ll get a pic soon as I can

Might not be till next week though. It’s at my daughters house, where I do all my hunting from. Won’t be over that way this week. But I will get a pic to you. I’m really pleased with it so far. I like how the platform kind of curves and not just straight out then angled down.

Schaffer cam cleat
EWO standoffs (top rotating to clear platform, bottom non-rotating)
EWO double step
EWO sewn 2 step aider
EWO wire handle
Oplux rope
Stealth strip
