Just wondering if any of you guys have any info over the web Three step aider vs the Amsteel three step aider ?

Looking to lose the pack an play maybe

Any thoughts on the bridge rope vs Amsteel?

yes at the very end I might need to make a lightweight one stick as I have the EWO UP platform
 
To me, the extra weight of the webbing aider is worth it. I had a hard time with the amsteel catching in the treads of my boots. It's also a very minimal weight savings.
