Can someone explain why albuno deer are protected in some areas?
Some Indian tribes around here think they're spirit animals. That's why I'd pass on one other than taking pictures- I don't want the grief it'd bring here.

I would shoot. It's not legal here. Unfortunate as I live in a good area for white deer. I actually have 7 different ones located within 30 miles of my house.

I have a long history with this buck as his core area is only about a mile from my country home. I call him Halo. He turns 3 this year. His son Apollo turns 2 this year. I haven't gotten a decent photo of him this year.

No I wouldn't shoot . They are rare and I wouldn't shoot an albino buck or doe. An old Indian legend if you shoot an albino deer you'll have bad luck.
