Petition to formally demand that swampsnyper attend Saddlepalooza 2019!!

I still can't believe you guys couldn't knock down any bacon. Next year I have to hunt just to tip the scales in our favor.

Had I brought the 30-30 I would have had a couple pigs. I made the mistake of carrying a 22-250 in a situation where I was jumping pigs off beds, at close range, in dense brush..... not really that caliber’s forte!

Oh man, this is an interesting thread, sorry for the misdirection about cooking permits, I was just making &$(# up, I have no idea, lol! Glad I could get folks all fired up though, what do you wanna bet there really is a permit to cook....

Don’t know how this got turned this direction. I in no way meant to bad mouth the job G2 has done. Hope it wasn’t taken this way. It was a huge sacrifice on his part to make it happen. I hope we have many more. I’ve heard nothing but greatness about the event. I apologize for the direction this thread has turned.
To a coonass, cooking isn’t a chore. It’s part of our heritage and we enjoy making people happy with our food. I wouldn’t have a problem staying at camp and cooking a jambalaya for the group if my pot is big enough for the group. I’ll be glad to do it one night if I come donated by me.
Here’s one event I held. Cooked my famous jambalaya.

And another year.
Hey guys I would like to apologize if my comment about the seafood was misconstrued. I was only speaking to a fellow louisianian about boiled seafood which is such a big part of our culture. I, in no way ment to criticize the food at the event. It was all great, including the seafood(I ate three plates). And @g2outdoors did a fantastic job of putting it together. If @swampsnyper cooks the jambalaya, I volunteer to cook the white beans! My apologies again I offended anybody. I in no way meant my comment with any ill intent.

18C9EADC-27AB-4137-B2A9-D94199971B69.png I was not there, all I can is guys gaining weight after hunting all day; the food had to be good. That being said I do not think the post was, is offensive. I chimed in trying to persuade swampsnyper into attending. If that was taken out of context or misconstrued I apologize.

I am thinking of getting one if these and it cooks bbq fast. I do do a lot bbq and it was is an excuse to get one. These are supposed to be great for camping, tailgating and cooking for large groups.

Guys, relax I don’t think anyone took it that way. You all are apologizing for something that didn’t happen. At least from what I read.
I think Greg would appreciate ANY help in putting this together I can only imagine it’s stressful.

Just a heads up, big joe, you can put one together cheaper than that. Most bbq forums have very detailed parts lists and instructions. I was going to build one a few years ago, but found out my wife basically won’t eat anything smoked..... :-(

Thank you, will look into it. Any $$ savings goes into the hunting-fishing budget
