Prepping for 2018, taking input for video ideas

I hadn't seen that video, that pretty much covers what I was thinking. Totally agree with the above. I applaud the innovators and early adopters, but when it comes to my invaluable hunting time I prefer to let them work out the kinks and go with the proven gear.
There should be no "kinks". If you have kinks, I would recommend a little practice to get comfortable. Practice goes with any mobile hunting system including tree stands. In the end, the saddle will give you a compact, light solution that allows you to hunt out of ANY tree. If you can hang a rope from it, you can hunt it.

That being said, saddles aren't for everyone. Some people are far more comfortable in a tree stand and that is great. Important thing is to have fun and enjoy your time outdoors.

Sorry but it doesn't work that way - YOU have to work out the kinks you encounter with your specific KSAs - others cannot do that for you. A .270 has been proven at long range shooting by many hunters - however, in an unpracticed/unskilled hand it has limitations.

I'm sold on saddles I meant more along the lines of climbing trees with hockey sticks, rappelling from red oaks with dental floss, those kinds of Mcgyverisms which invariably lead to kinks that are fun to read about and highly applauded but not for me! I meant it to be funny not a shot at anyone so don't be offended!

yeah, some of it doesn't make sense but it's entertainment regardless.

Thanks for posting that video @BassBoysLLP . That was extremely helpful and as Im deciding which bow I'm going to hunt with this year it put a lot of things to keep in the back of my head.
