Rope mod in the rain

what type of rope? If its climbing rope I would say no as that stuff is tough.

I hunted all day last week through a morning of non-stop drizzle, rain let up about noon. My hawk heliums with PMI 8mm acc cord rope mod showed no loss of grip strength.

If it's nylon, it's known to absorb water which can decrease tensile strength, but likely not enough to make a huge difference.
