SaddlePalooza - Feb 16-19, 2018 - LIVE FROM PIGVILLE

I thought it would be worth mentioning to those who attended this year, put you gun registration papers up and keep up with your Isportsman account information.

I almost threw my paper away and then I thought I might need it next year so I saved it

Just got home. What a great trip with some great friends! I'm beat though! There was too much to do and too little time so sleep was sacrificed. And then @Erniepower, @huck72412 and I stayed up up until 4am around the fire last night!

I enjoyed reading this thread and hope I can go next year. I would love to hang out and learn new setup and hunting tips from you guys. Plus I have never been hog hunting yet. I like the idea of camping trips hopefully you guys can find something more Northerly.

Man what a blast we all had at Saddlepalooza 2018! No pigs were harmed this year in effort to populate more for next year. Met a lot of great people, made new friends and hunting buddies. I was lucky enough to win 1 of the 2 kestrels made in predator camo just for saddlepalooza. Man I felt like I won the golden turd at an annual plumbers convention. Thx to everyone that had a hand in making saddlepalooza an awesome experience. Thx to all the sponsors as well!

Hello fellas I was at your saddlepalooza but as a non member . I drove thru your camp daily. not to harm pigs also ,feed mosquitos, and swamp walk. I never got a chance to watch you guys and am interested in this . Any tips guides for the new prospect.
Welcome to our site! Lots of info here so start reading and feel free to ask any questions that you have! You should have stopped by to say hi! It was the largest gathering of saddle hunters in the history of the world!!!

Just made it home. Thanks to everyone that put the event together. It was great to meet you all and I learned so much from you all. Can’t wait to tweak my setup based on everything I learned and all your suggestions.

For those of who inquired about my friend Jack.
I spoke with him this afternoon and the final word is " Coronary Occlusion ". This is a form of heart attack caused by a blockage in or around the impacted region. He will undergo coronary angioplasty and is expected to be and feel perfectly normal soon enough. Perhaps being surrounded by a bunch of weirdos dangling from tiny ropes and speaking in terms beyond his limited understanding of saddle hunting proved hard on his heart. Thanks again fellas!!!!

I was social as I walked thru. But looked like it was a private party

I think a couple of us may have talked to you as you were coming back from the shower - I remember a couple of guys with towels around their necks who were not part of the group casually walking by to the back side of the camp site.
