so what do you think went wrong on the hogs? Anything you can do different next year?

Is hog hunting from a stand/saddle basically a bait or nothing situation? I mean obviously G2 gets them , but hes hunting deer...of course youre going to get a hog when youre looking for deer

Would be cool to see this done on private, to explore a few more options like night hunting

There are private reserves/lands that let groups hunt hogs for very cheap.

can you hunt and bait them at night on private land in GA? Seems like baiting at night is the sure fire way to be rid of an invasive critter like a hog

I think g2 said you could bait in public land just not on the base. Not sure about night.

I have been researching this it appears private land anything goes. WMA and public lands are same refs as Ft Stewart.

yeah I know.....I'm just wondering what kind of options moving it to one of those "cheap" ranches opens up.
And not that there is anything wrong with trying to do it public either... but its an internet hunting forum.

We will figure out how to do it best by finding the guy to tell us how to do it best
