I'm going to start practicing out of my Anderson Saddle I modified so I can use this year. I had bought some Yale Bandit and a Ropeman 1. Been reading the safety thread and may just use my ropeman on my linesman rope. Was looking at some sewn prusik cords. What size should I buy to use with the Bandit? Found some 6.5, 7, and 8mm Bluewater. Thanks.

It looks like I should be using 7mm with the Yale Bandit 11mm. Sound about right? Thanks

I don't know anything about the handling characteristics of Bluewater ropes but unless it's a stiff cord I think 7mm is going to want to bind up. My inclination would be to use a little larger Arborist type prusik cordage. They're designed from top to bottom to be used as friction hitches and will tend to perform better.
