Does anyone know if there is another aftermarket cleat, like what is used on the Skeletors? Was thinking I could put them on my Hawks. I currently use a daisy chain with the original buttons. but I like the idea of not having to use the daisy chain. Thanks in advance....

Haven’t found similar but I think the Zig Zag cleat would work well.

Appreciate the feedback enkriss. I’m sure it won’t be long before something similar comes out. The zigzag cleat does seem like a good idea. I’ll do a little research on em and see what I can come up up with.

You can do the same thing with the old style hawk cleats. Just wrap it like a boat cleat.

You can do the same with the newer stock button too, that's what I'm doing this season. Just do one loop around the button, go behind and loop the button against, and repeat. 3-4 times should be enough, then half hitch it to secure the rope. They should be binding against each other really well. This is a hybrid of the rope mod and the boat cleat.
