Mine go in my pack.
I have the entire spur covered in either camoform or stealth strips. I wrapped the camoform all the way around the spur down around the stirrup.Anyone wrap the bottom of the stirrup to quiet it down?
Work out a routine at ground level. It isn't bad at all once you do it for a while. I take mine off at hunting height every time and the put them back on. Several of these yahoo's on the forum have convinced me to try rappelling next season but for now it's spur up spur down.for those of you who are not rapelling back down, is it difficult while sitting in a sling, to put them back on for a climb back down the tree?
I like the sound of rappelling too. I've got lot to learn first. I wish there was an event where we could see demonstrations and see what people use to do what they do. It's a lot to figure out reading all these posts. But, I'll keep at it.Work out a routine at ground level. It isn't bad at all once you do it for a while.
