Steppladder Platform Board DIY

Too funny. One of my goals this weekend was to try and attach an xop seat to a step ladder for this type of platform.

Do you think the XOP or his board would be heavier?

Maybe it's just me but I am not a fan of using plywood. Cool idea for sure. He's onto something, I just don't see this as the end result. Prototype for sure

nice, seems like you could design or size the platform to your own preference. maybe even cut a handle into it.

Erniepower - I will be curious to see what you come up with over the weekend!

How does it respond with sideways pressure? Does it slip when trying to rotate to say a 3 or 9 o'clock position?

I don't think it will too much with the holes the posts go through. Maybe a little bit

Hey everyone! Thanks for bringing this to my attention! We have been messing around with a platform idea for months now and we think we have finally gotten it down and know you will all be excited to see how well it works.
It is clear too see in the video that the demonstrator did not cam the stepp over properly to make it tight! The concept is there, however I would not trust plywood! I will keep you all posted on the release of our new platform attachment!

Awesome, I use a stepp ladder with ameristeps for a platform, but would most definitely purchase a platform attachment as well!

I bet Jim is proud of you. I can't wait to see your platform...and will probably be in for several.
