I found a solid bed where two trees were beside each other and slightly raised at the trunks in a swamp. There wasn’t more than a square yd out of the water, and between them there you could see a perfect oval matted down with hair on in it. It was in a random spot dead center of a marsh. Pretty neat though.

I don’t know about 60-200 but we have a lot here. Our first two years living here we had a regular herd of 15-20 that lived within a quarter mile of our street. Nearby streets were similar. You could drive around on an October evening and count 50 deer no problem. The bad winter followed by west Nile in the summer hurt us a lot. This year was halfway back to the first years.
