Tether attachment using delta link

New to the saddle and have a question what knot is better for running a delta link...Scaffold or figure 8? I was running a figure 8 and simply running 35 feet of rope through the eye. Want to use the delta so what is safer a Scaffold with three wraps or figure 8? In other words what do you think is better to run.

I prefer the scaffold but either is fine.

Only real difference is whether you want the delta link loose or tight to the tied end of your tether! Maybe less likely to fall off during transport if it's a scaffold knot...

When I used a link, I liked my rope tight against it. I thought I was using a fisherman’s knot of some sort, but it may have been a scaffold……with a stopper

I use a Bull Hitch for my links…
