Tree Bracket Size Question?

I'm working on some DIY stuff and I was wondering what size are the brackets that hold your climbing sticks or platforms, most here seem to use the XOP, but I"m curious what size they tend to be, please reply with specs for your brackets.

Also, I'm curious what style of bracket seems to work best, I noticed some are flat and some have a slight curve to them, some even have a very aggressive angle.
