Do you all have any issues with saddle in smaller diameter trees and hunting low, due to the small trees

Zero issues. I actually prefer a volleyball to basketball size tree. I have hunted smaller when the situation dictates, but pretty much refuse to go bigger than a bb.

6-8"diameter pines are alright on calm days but u gonna have to watch ur movement....if it's gonna be a windy day I would rather hunt off the ground....high windy will get u swaying pretty good in the little pines. In small pines that diameter any movement u make is transfered into the tree and it says/shakes accordingly

I weight 160-180 and this is what I've experienced

I had a nice pinch point I liked to hunt which due to the canopy height required me to only be 12' or so up. I would commonly hang in trees which were only as big around as my thigh. Only issue I had was trying to stay awake when the wind blew and the tree would sway and try and rock me to sleep :)

I hunt plenty of oaks not much bigger around 8 or 9 inches. Trees that small are also hard to hunt on calm days because the whole tree shakes every time you move.

I enjoy small trees, so long as they don’t accentuate my movements.

I like em on breezy days cause you can actually get away with a lot of movement when the wind gusts.
