Can anyone give me a good recommendation for a really good tether to use with a tl ambush? Having to tie the strap is killing me and I'm gonna hate it when it's dark outside in the mornings. I also want to use a ropeman one

Order some Samson predator and a ropeman 1. So much easier than the strap. You can order it as just the rope or you can order a tether from wild edge, tethrd or new tribe. Those all come with a prussic.

Pear shaped biner of your choice. Either a ropeman or prussik

Cheap and easily available would be hss & ropeman off Amazon

The Petzl William biner is a pretty solid choice for size & weight. Screw lock version or auto triact lock is on Amazon also.

A more refined and stronger set up can be got thru Tethrd.

if you can find an old tree saddlelinesman belt ... I prefer the old tree saddle linesman belt since it take seconds to setup and can be adjusted very easily. It also packs quickly and compact (the tether isnt frayed even though it looks that way).

Old post but I'm curious if you still use this and where the heck can one be found, I only seen ropes being used to tether. A flat belt makes some sense
