Turkey season

Got my first turkey with a shot gun. 19 pounds 8 inch beard one inch spurs. I have never had time to turkey hunt in May much before ... too busy.
Used my guidos web from the ground. Comfortable way to turkey hunt.
Only other turkey I got was 2 years ago from a tree while deer hunting. Used a bow then. For the last two years I always carry a turkey tag when bow hunting deer.

That's awesome! I wanted to try my sitdrag this year on the ground but never got around to it. I think it would work great and be way more comfortable than sitting on the ground.

Definitely! I'm trying to figure out where to hunt out of state next year so I can shoot more than one! Trying to recruit some friends to go around here. It's a blast.

Tennessee! Beautiful state and there is a 4 bird limit for their spring season! Not sure what non resident tags cost though...

Guidos web also allowed me to carry two decoys in the folded up web on my back. In the web pockets were my calls thermo cell etc

I still had my web attached to a tree about two feet off the ground with good cover.

I think the web advantage besides the comfort it allows for minimal movement and when you prepare to shoot you have the tree in front for cover.

I am no expert turkey hunter but the guidos web is great.
I hope someone's buys the company before Butch retires this year

If not Ernie or new tribes. Maybe wild edge.

It complements the aero hunter. For long sits not too far away it is great or cold weather

Come to WV I'll put you on one! I'm actually planning a backpack/turkey hunt trip for next spring in one of our wilderness areas. Hunt in the morning, trout fish in the afternoons. I think it would be a fun time!

I'm gonna try my guidos for turkey hunting next year. I used it to hunt deer while on ground and that was supper nice. Carrying decoys and calls would work fine. The dump pouches on my Guidos will hold my calls.
My Sit drag with back support would work fine also while running and gunning. Put calls in dump pouches and go.
Box calls of regular size fits the dump pouches fine, the pull line that shuts pouch will hold the box inside.
These are mostly thoughts on what could work out for useing saddles while hunting turkeys but I know the pouches work cause I attached the pouches on a predator seat that I have used for long sits for turkey.

We (Mississippi) have 3 adult gobblers a season and I think Tennessee has 5 gobblers of any age a season. Check with @ImThere for Tennessee.

Sounds awesome, hopefully I can work something out for next year.

Took this one in April. 9 in beard and 1 1/8 spurs.
It was a quick kill. Daylight started rollover the eastern horizon and i have not heard the first bird. Usually there are gobbles well before light. This was leaving me really puzzled cause my son and I usually are listening to any where from 9 to 16 birds by this time of a new day.
At 5:30 am, there the thunder rolled two ridges over and at the top of that ridge is a food plot. Iwas heading that way and so was that thunder.
After getting to the plot, i set up between the plot and a road bed that parallels the plot. Not knowing which the gobbler would follow, he popped put at the end of plot at 70 -75 yards. Had him to triple gobble and then he kinda started back the way he come. I turned my head back to the right rear of my shoulder and did a soft three yelp series. All at once, that red necked bird turned back my direction. He caught the Long Beard XR in the face at 38 steps.
At 5:50 am that morning, the story ENDED.

Just called in this tom for my buddy Matt, some of you may know him from pigmageddon. I'm ready to give up my day job and be a turkey guide.
