What scent free deodorant do you use?

That should be a SH tradition. Remove all body hair the day before opener and keep it off until success or season end. (Eyebrows excepted)

Or we can use it as a SH induction ceremony. At minimum for our Canadian members!

Oh ya! I was talking to@Ontariofarmer and he's all in. Even wants it on YouTube.

As funny as that sounds, the closest I have come to shaving my face since I was 20 was a goatee. Since 21 I have had a beard. I would rather play the wind and get busted from time to time than shave it off. More than 10 years with a beard and you become a little attached to your facial hair... That and the fact that without it, I look 12.

Picture this.......
Invite the Roberstsons to Saddlepalooza and when they show up, all the saddle hunters are hair free.......

Including smelly eyebrows.

And we just sniff the Robertsons, while asking about their deodorants.

They would definitely be back next year

Well, I just clipped everything but my beard and the hair on my head. I was doing my bi-weekly arm pit trim (too long to get deodorant to skin) and said "screw it". I run hotter than two rats in a wool sock, so hopefully it turns down the heat at the very least. It looked like I had murdered a mangey dog on the porch after I was done. You never realize how hairy you are until you trim it.

If youre not doing head/face/eyebrow, why bother? Without those its just metro-manscaping

Jk though, don't shave your eyebrows...but if you do post pics

That wasn't a knock on you Ike, just how far will we go.

Me personally I'm not cutting my hair, just because John Eberhardt laughs at other guys with hair/beards. what makes you believe him about "hair"...because hes had success?

Majority of predator mammals have evolved with hair....

Do whats reasonable in your world to control your scent......but pay undividing attention to the wind and thermals

Seeing the light........lol

I swear by scent killer ... been using the deodorant , body wash ,clothes wash and spray combination for years and I rarely get busted ... if I do its because I went to long between clothes washing .... the spray works the best I believe , I use a lot of it before each hunt and always keep a couple gallons on hand.

I've been using dead down wind, is scent killer the brand? Any big difference between the 2?

Oh and I buzzed my hair off and trimmed the chest hair and arm pits lol!

I'm new to all of this but last night I got a big plastic bin(big enough for all if my clothing and gear) cleaned it out real good threw in some leaves and put a ring of weather stripping around the top to seal the lid on real good. My only concern is if everything will have a plastic smell, I didn't really wanna spend a bunch on a scent lol bag or tub. I might get a scent lok absorption pad for it.

I'm also gonna try and get through this season without any carbon activated clothing with the hopes of finding some on sale toward the end of the season.

Hopefully with a little scent disapline I'll be alright, just worried about sweating!

The hunting industry has reaped the rewards of my money for far too long. Speed stick unscented and unscented soaps as John E. has described are all I use for the last several years.

It sounds like a croc of an idea

I would rather use the chlorophyll thanks Then I smell like alfalfa anyway. Livestock farmers have a natural scent cover too

Fill tub half full add 2 boxes arm and hammer baking soda. Sit and soak. Wet hair throughly. Add your fav sent killer spray before going in

I bet with that much baking soda you might turn into a cookie. Do you think you need that much. ?? I use baking soda but a lot less

Spray it on my hands
I guess I will rely on scent lok. If it works. It is so cool today. 54 degrees. No sweating. The 90 degrees are over
