XOP Sit and Climb mod for climbing platform

So I joined several years ago when I got interested in saddle hunting and have really enjoyed seeing everyone’s mods and making some of them my own.

I recently bought an XOP sit and climb top and did a quick mod to make it into a climbing platform. Reason I decided on trying this is I’m comfortable with climbers and the platform is large enough to maneuver. My biggest gripe about saddle platforms is I just never felt safe putting on or taking off layers because of platform size and I like alternating between facing towards and away from the tree. I tuck my feet under the tubing that houses the band and it is very easy and quick. I used to use a lone wolf climber seat but was always worried about it busting, which it eventually did with a crack on the front of the seat. It weighs 8.5lbs and I’ll take that weight all day looking at everything else on the market. The climber is very stable when I synch it down and takes side pressure well with how I made the bolts to attach the stabilizer strap. Thoughts and critiques welcome! May look to take to a welder in the future to replace the wood platform with more aluminum tubing. I haven’t really seen any other mods on climbers outside of the lone wolf hand climbers. Glad I could finally contribute!
