A very simple thread, what are/did you do to make your equipment tailored more for you?

Pics and thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I’ll start.

I purchased an alps big bear Danny pack the other day off of camo fire in hope that I could make it replace my back pack. To my surprise, I absolutely love it and can see slowly piecing it together and making it my own.

This particular fanny has an expandable top that I think will serve absolutely perfect for my extra clothes.

Here’s a pic of me trying it on for the first time. This is without the lack extended.
Here are a few pics. IMG_2597.jpg

Here is a pic after I’ve added my first customization to it.

The pack has 3 rows of molle webbing slots on the front bottom of the pound. Here you can see the small strap system I stitched up to add a little more storage to the pack but bot effect or cover up any of the other pockets, etc.

Here is a pic of the strap ran through the molle attachment without my rain gear in it.

The small straps can also accommodate my predator in early season or when layering isn’t that important.

My first desire for the real custom part is to add some molle webbing to the out side of the bag here. This will make the bag, that I already love, even better.

If anyone has any insight on adding the molle system to their pack, please do share.

I want to add the molle attachment points, but I don’t want to tear the Fabric, should I reinforce it on the inside too?

Here’s the area I want to add the molle
