I have been kicking the idea around if making my 10 year old son a saddle for Christmas. He currently hunts out of a hang on while I hang in my saddle behind him. I would feel a lot better if he was in a saddle. Plus, he really wants to hunt out of one. I was considering making a fleece saddle or altering a sit drag. Both would be backed by his regular harness. Any recommendations on what may be better for a kid?
 
I'd like to see what you come up with. Want to get something together for my now 5 yr old to get him practicing come sprint time. What do you plan on doing for him climbing up? Was thinking of some sort of pulley system or using aiders.
 
I would at the very least get him in a rock harness. I have been thinking similear things with my kids. I think Santa May be bringing these gifts this year.
