Hawk Tree Seat Solid Fix

pricing out the parts yields a total of $76.46 currently at double steps.com. that is a new post, alumibutton, and two brackets, and the 29 bucks I have into the seat. Even at $100 it is far more affordable than most other options. However, I will most likely only be doing the modifications shown at the beginning of this thread.

Here’s mine modded up. No button attachment. Works pretty good. Lift the swat, tighten the strap and push the seat down. Functions almost like a cam-over platform. No issues putting side pressure into it.

Just got in the predator platform and the predator is still much lighter and easier to get situated in the tree. However, this is a very reasonable alternative. It’s currently set up in a very wide tree that u hunt from periodically since due to the tree being so large in diameter it’s more of a PITA to get the strap around it every time I want to hunt out of that tree. I use the predator platform as my mobile platform for all my other hunting locations.

what size tubing is that? I've been looking into doing the same thing.

These would be great for some presets if you have some spots you wanted to revisit, or make a few of theme and if you really liked a spot you could leave it up for another day and next hunt grab another.
