OOAL Sticks

Posts look solid that interesting I’d like to know a weight look pretty hefty

I do not see the steps or standoff rotating at all, actually the stand off may but to me that would be useless if the step can not rotate also. Those steps look super wide making packing a nightmare in my opinion. I do love the idea of a super wide step just wish it could collapse somehow.

With how innovative Matt has been over at OOAL I was expecting something to blow my mind. I am sure that the bolt sticking out is not a finished product, but I see nothing new here. Maybe I am missing something?

Of course they look like everything else, how much can actually do with climbing stick design? Through the thread they've been compared to: Beast sticks, DanO, LWCG, lol. They all are generally the same (Helium are slightly different) which proves theres only so much). An aluminum tube with foot rests and stand offs. It's all about marketing and price point (and, if your marketing is good enough, price point is second **ahem, Beast Sticks)

I would think that the final design would have them recessed because like @Murph4028 said its for stacking but they wont stack with the way it is now either.

I cant image the vertical structure is solid and they would be under 2lbs a stick. So either its tubing with a cap or some type of composite? Maybe?
