Let's talk bow strings

I'm 3 years on the strings on my Reign 6, is it time I got new also?
is it showing wear? is your bow in spec still? has your peep been rotating on you? No, yes, no are your answers then your good. I usually just replace mine every 2 years because I shoot a lot and I do the work myself so I am only out 80 bucks to make sure everything is good to go. I had a buddy that waited to long and his string was stretched and wore pretty bad and wellllll he needed new limbs, limb pockets, cams, and string after she blew.

Just got a full string/cable set in the mail today from Mike at Catfish Customs. Never seen better! Hope they work as good as they look. I expect them to. Definitely a good company to do business with.

What was their turn around on strings?

Yeah that’s ridiculous. I’m not sure how they could charge that much. Quite a few excellent options for much less. I’m really not sure how you could build better threads than JBK.

I hear yah, haven’t tried them.

Also haven’t had custom strings stretch ever. Haven’t even noticed a “shoot in period” in years. String material has come a long way.

Yes my peep is starting to turn more. Not much excessive visible wear, normal I would say, and no fraying anywhere.
