Kuhnerts Ambush

So all yall with the ambush might wanna check this out:

$30. 1lb. 22kn buckle. Backyard test revealed it to be super comfy.

Just an FYI.:)

I replaced the buckle with the one I prefer and will vet wrap the d rings this evening. Weighs 13oz with the new buckle. Dead quiet. And you really do forget you're wearing it. No linemans loops to flop around, you just clip the bridge to the d rings and share it with your linemans. Or I may go back to trying to find a good way to use the linemans as a "tether" once I'm at height.

Also got 2 cable aiders in. 2 mini sticks and the platform will get me 10ft in less than 5 minutes. I have a few more little changes to work through, but it's looking like a stupid-easy, stupid-comfortable, and highly effective way to hunt.
This looks like an awesome idea!! Could you make a video on how to use this setup. Sorry, I'm still new to all this stuff but it sounds exactly what I'm trying to come up with for some of my quick hunts. Thanks

I have one and have really liked it, much to my surprise. I use it with the mini sticks and it's a super nifty little setup. I hunted last weekend with 2 dark-to-dark sits and a third 8 hour sit (36 hours in 3 days) and was more comfortable than I think ibe ever been. And it has been packed through some nasty creek bottoms.

Finish is crap. But after half a season its covered in mud and blood anyway. It works, and works well, IMO.
How did you like those sticks? Debating on those or the 18in beast sticks. Heard a couple people say the lwcg sticks were a little slick on the tree.

Well I got my belt and I think it will be a great belt for smaller waists. I am 35-36" waist and the D rings are not forward enough on me. I had my son put it on and it was a good fit.

Luckily I ordered the Welkforder belt too and although a bit heavier the fit is real good for me. I will be sitting g in this quite a bit. It maybe that I endorse this over a saddle that's four times the cost.

I do love the material on the one Nutterbuster has, for sure.

Nutterbuster, you might be a bad influence.
Can't wait to sit in this rig. If effective, very cost effective!

Thanks bud

I know me some archery but not computer savvy.

When you go to Nutterbusters link it will show recommendations at the bottom of the page.

NBs belt is so light and the material feels very strong and durable. It just feels small on me.

The Welkforder is twice as heavy at like #1.1
and a thicker pad but I prefer the tongue buckle
AND the belt is exposed and allows you to use molly type add ons. It also has two small fingernail size rings in front to clip items and two thumbnail size rings on the back.

They are both good belts. I would use the kseibi for 32 Inch waist and smaller. It would be my first choice. I'm closer to 36 right now and I feel the Ds are too far back.

The eye on my trophyline lineman rope is too small to girth hitch so I use a soft shackle and its quieter.

This is the Welkforder basic it is narrower at the mid back. The premium is a couple dollars more $40 and is like an inch wider at the high point.

I sent an email last week asking for the longer leveling bar and LWCG sent it to me, no question's asked. Man, I'm not sure what every ones relationship with them has been. But they have been nothing but awesome to me. Anyways, I'm pretty sure that longer leveling bar has got rid of some of flex. Mine didn't flex much anyway. But it seems a lot more solid with that longer leveling bar?

What bar are you talking about? Where you adjust the angle of the plat form?

Longer leveling bar? Pics?

This. The Ambushes from the first batch have a much shorter leveling bar/rod/stop/metal thingy.
