Nomad 50% off code

I had my eye on their scrape set, that worked out great, thanks

Anyone have complaints about Nomad gear? I‘be been eying it for a while, but felt it was overpriced. With this code, I might just have to load up!

MTNOMAD50

I really like their Barrier pants. Durable, and warm. Fit true to size
Thanks for the code. What temps would you wear the barrier system? I’m looking at getting my son a new system for nov Michigan trip.

I've worn a lot of their gear for turkey hunting and have no complaints. I hunt in South GA, so cold isn't really a factor though. I order a set of their Bloodtrail pants and an Icon shirt for warmer weather mostly. I think the Realtree Timber pattern will blend in really well with the oaks down here in coastal GA.

From their website, it doesn't look like there is any real insulation in the Barrier Jacket. it's simply a soft windproof shell with a light fleece interior. That being said, it's probably comfortable down to the low 50's. Not typical November weather here in Michigan.

Thanks. Made a small order. Been looking for a Turkey vest and for $34 I will take the chance that I will like it.

Used the code to buy a bunch of different styles and sizes to see what I like since I can’t go to the store to try stuff on. Thanks for the code!!

Scape for me as well! Never had badlands clothes but love there packs. Find out more about clothes now! Thanks for the code!

Looks like I'll be running the Scrape set the year :grimacing: thanks for the code!
I bought four of their jackets (in medium and large) to see what I liked the best—Conifer, Cottonwood, Scrape, and Harvester—and I just got tried them all on today. The Conifer and Cottonwood were quick no’s from me because they’re too heavy and bulky, which interfered with pulling my bow. I’m questionable on the Harvester, which is the cheapest of the four ($65 with the discount code), but also the least fitted. I think I’m most likely to stick with the Scrape, so I’m curious what you/others think of it. I like the Veil camo pattern, the comfortable (but fitted) fit, the tapered sleeves, the quiet fabric, and the warm pockets, especially. I don’t think it needs a hood, but I also don’t think it’ll be in the way since it lays so flat on the back of your neck. It’s a better jacket than anything I currently own, but don’t know if it’s worth keeping for $140 or saving up for Sitka/FL/Kuiu...
Any other thoughts? Concerns?

I bought a bunch and it’s all going back. I found it to be poor fitting and didn’t like the materials used for the pieces. I ordered a scrape jacket and bibs, barrier jacket and pants, and high ridge pants.

Is there something else you can recommend at this price point? I bought the scrape jacket and bibs and I feel like it is going to work a lot better than the old junk I've been wearing.

At the price point where it is at 50% off you probably can't beat it. So, to answer you question, I can't think of anything I've personally tried that I would recommend over it at that price point. It's not bad stuff, just wasn't for me and definitely not worth retail.

I received the beanie and the scrape set comes in later today. I wasn’t impressed by the fit of the hat or the construction and materials. If the scrape set isn’t great, it’s all going back.

Can’t say I was impressed by the scrape set. I think it’s worth the value at 50% off. The stitching isn’t great and it over all doesn’t seem to be of high quality.

I’m torn between keeping it or not. I’m more of the mentality of buy once, cry once. I don’t want to take this out later in the fall and be let down.

Overall, they’re not bad pieces, but not the quality that I want to invest in.

If the scrape set actually is windproof like it says then I think I'll be ok with my purchase for now. Only gripe is the fact that there is no zipper in the bibs to take a leak.
