It looks like a fancy recon in this picture

I like the secondary attachment area on the waist buckle. Could you repel off that?

According to the Latitude website, the buckle is an AustriAlpin and according to the AustriAlpin website, the buckle is rated to 18kN and the d ring is rated at 22kN.

I trust @MADhunts reviews. They should give him one he has tried most of them

Thanks for the support Ontariofarmer!
I did! I found it extremely comfortable. I ran a mantis before that, and sit drag before that. I found with The Method I had a ton of adjustability, and I actually used the top portion of the saddle as my back support. That eliminated the need for a back band.

I found the Recon to be similar with the adjustability and with the top portion being used as a back support. Have you tried the Recon? Is there any comparison?

So, I have to ask a few questions. Having used a recon, Wraptor, Wrap2r, Anderson sling, and a simular saddle I made (https://saddlehunter.com/community/...e-under-a-pound-the-girdle.24613/#post-346644), I experienced a few issues that they all shared. Can you guys let me know how these are addressed? BTW, I liked each saddle, but couldnt get away from the convenience and comfort of a single panel saddle. While the only 2 sling style saddles I still have are the Wraptor and the Girdle, they each have a place ( they are typically used for hanging cameras)
1. Wearing. I understand that the Method is designed so that the bottom secures to the top while walking. What method is used to release it?
2. Obviously you must climb with it in the stowed position. Otherwise, the bottom flops around. So, you loose your seat everytime you introduce slack. So, is the fiddle factor high when you are at height releasing the bottom panel?
3. When you walk in, it is mid waist. Once at the tree you have to position it lower to climb. Once at height, you have to release the bottom panel, move the top panel up, and move the bottom panel into position. Is that correct?
4. It looks like the leg straps secure FROM the back of the bottom panel, TO the loops just behind the belt channel. Im having a hard time wrapping my head around how that is effective for those who use leg loops? Do the leg loops secure to th top panel on the back somehow?
5. The web page says that the leg loops are designed to remove while walking and attach before climbing...Thinking about my old bodies capabilities, It seems like I might have to remove the saddle to connect? Or, learn yoga?:)
6. It seems that when slack is introduced while both panels are deployed, the bottom is going to drop, or at least require repositioning. Have you experienced that at all?

Thanks guys!

This live feed by Genesis 3D Printing will answer most of these questions.

SH on the browser is showing the video. I can also click on the link in TapTalk and it opens in a browser. Can anyone else see the video?

It is an interesting looking sling. They should give this saddle to some one who has tried 6 to 10 saddles and then let them review it. Kind of like the car magazines do.
I really wish them success but the competition is stiff. Actually I wish all the saddle companies success, but that won’t happen.

Someone needs to build a saddle in a Canada. Zero competition.

I don't know. Regardless of the car magazine review people still choose Dodge, Ford, or Chevy (even if the magazine says Chevy is better than both :)). What I see happening is people watch the reviews and whatever saddle that person says is the "most comfortable" they buy. A saddle is not all about comfort. If it was everyone would use a JX3. The reviewer is opinionated. My body is different than the reviewers. There is such thing as saddle shape. All the saddles have pros and cons. The reviewers hunting style might be different than mine. My fall and winter is different than the reviewers fall and winter. There are a ton of variables here. IMO, the best thing a hunter can do is understand their conditions/goals/style and buy a few different saddles based on that.

I believe there are better and worst saddles. But comfort has to be subjective. Tether height and bridge length have a lot to do with all day comfort in any saddle. Those are different for different hunters. I can stay comfortable in a size 2 kite all day. It's one of the cheapest saddles on the market. Doesn't have any fancy features. My hunting buddy has been with me many times all day in a Mantis (which is considered one of the least comfortable saddles in most reviews). It works for him and he doesn't want any other saddle. I'm a big fan of reviews. I just don't see how reviews can be the Bible on saddle comfort. I believe most people quit saddle hunting because they not like change and don't give it time. There's a lot to learn and a lot to teach in this game. There's nothing to just sitting on the seat of a stand.

Any clue if they offer a military discount?

Sure do, just shoot us a message through the contact page on the website and we’ll shoot you a code to use when you order. We are around today so we can get that over to you shortly if need be. Thanks!
