I’ve killed a bunch of animals with $39 4 packs and several now with a few different model Iron Wills. I’m not convinced the less expensive options are more economical. Even if they are I’m ok with investing in the terminal end of my equipment.

I'm haven't stayed up to date with their products. Did the carbon pro with the standoff similar to a shikar get released, and now they're moving to this one? Or did they make the change prior to the initial release.

I sidestack my deployed shikars. Even tho the catalyst carbons don't have a super sleek profile when side stacked (not that shikars do..), im thinking about making the switch. They look really legit.

Catalyst put their teaser pick up on Instagram today of the new "Diablo" carbon with the bigger standoffs. I inquired about the stacking, but either way looks like they might've nailed a lot of guys big gripes with what is currently available.

The pics I’ve seen of the standoff shows a notch so it looks like they’ll definitely in-line stack. Whether it’s staggered or not, I can’t tell.

marketing is going to do what marketing is gonna do. Let them market. It’s annoying but we talk, which means it was effective. Just imagine the dude who gave the marketing pitch is one of us saddle hunters and that he got a big fat bonus for being a tease to all of us but he spent some of that bonus on really good IPAs he’s gonna bring to saddle palooza and you won’t be so burnt up about it.
