You might be a saddle hunter if...

...you sit in a double ladder stand with your wife for 3 hours and it is almost unbearable.

(not because of your wife, but because of the excruciating pain of sitting on a hard seat with crap back support)
 
You may be a saddle hunter if you get the ‘ where is your stand’ from the guy your going in the woods with. And then you go on to pull it out of your pack. And you show him your platform and sticks.

... Your setup is not only mobile, but also lighter, quieter, more packable, more comfortable, and more efficient than the "other guy's" setup...

... But that "other guy" always seems to think YOUR system is stupid and ridiculous. :laughing: :tearsofjoy:

Alright...this stings a little.

First off it was two deer, thank you very much. I know they were small enough to add up to a normal deer but still...two tags deployed!

And it was only one saddle "harvest"...wait... does it count if a saddle order hasn't shipped yet?
 
If you were a saddle hunter long before saddle hunting became the cool thing to do.

If you’ve ever had to explain to someone that saddle hunting is not something you do from a horse..... lol I swear I’ve had to explain to at least 8 people after telling them I hunt from a saddle, they stop and look at you weird and say oh wow is it hard to shoot a bow from a horse?
