Has anyone gone through their video masterclass? Or is there a podcast or video that goes more in depth from the (whether from Seek One, Hunt Urban or someone else giving a review)? I'm interested to hear some feedback.

Don’t know if it’s still going, but they were offering 25% off the other day. Haven’t tried it.

I've seen nobody talk about the course, and that big of a discount makes me think there may not be as many people signing up for it as they thought they would get based on their YouTube popularity.

I’m very interested, just tough to justify that price tag right now in the middle of gift-buying season. Might get around to it after turkey season ends and I’m back focused on deer season.

I just finished Jason Samkowiak’s Master Class & I’m seriously considering starting this one..
Jason’s course is worth three times what he charges.. he has countless hours of podcast online also. Traditional Archery & Wilderness Podcast if anyone’s interested.
On the Seek One.. I think the real issue is it’s only ONE YEAR. Nearly every other online course is either monthly or a one time LIFETIME ACCESS. If it was lifetime access, I’d sign up tomorrow probably.

What could they really teach you? Be rich and get permission to hunt rich peoples backyards? Put out tons of deer feeders and game cameras? Don’t have a job and hunt 24/7?

EDIT: I like these guys and watch their stuff. It’s entertaining. Just like the THP class, I think buying internet hunting courses is a shameless ripoff that won’t make you a better hunter.

Lmao. No thanks. save your money guys. Learn from experiences and a huge assortment of channels from you tube. Everything you need to learn about almost anything is free on youtube.

Never heard of Jason Samkowiak. Interested to look him up now.

On the one hand, what I've seen from this group is a specific activity that is connected to hunting by very thin thread. If you have the conditions to play their game, I doubt you really need lessons.

On the other hand, if you're situation prevents you from going afield, practicing, and otherwise preparing...if you're holed up in hotels or hospital, caring for others, deployed, rooted in the met , what not,...there are worse ways to spend money and I'm confident there will be moments of clarity in that course, no matter where and how you hunt. It's best to know how fish in a bowl and fish in an ocean swim.

I find Seek a bit of a gimmic, but still preferable to trashy novels, US magazine, and E-TV.

Their passion is real and they still have to execute when it counts. And it's impressive what nature can produce when just a few basic elements are present, so it's cool to see the big deer.

It's not really hard to figure out their system if you watch a few of their videos. Have really exceptional communciation skills to gain access to urban undeveloped land and and learn the messaging you need to do so. Scout, scout, scout. Have oodles of time to do all this. It's always that last one that is the interesting catch-22 between the sort of "get rich quick" nature of a "masterclass" and the actual time and effort required to replicate what they do.

really it’s the access making the biggest difference for them from what I’ve seen.

I’ve seen estate and preserve bucks, many exhibit far more routine activity than those in the wild.

that shortens the timeframes needed for the seekers I’m sure

time is probably what makes the biggest difference for most of us, for success and learning and overall enjoyment hopefully. Though it can be more difficult to source than a big buck sometimes.

If I was killing bucks like y’all.. I wouldn’t take it either, lol

I understand that not ever "masterclass" or "course" is going to be worth the money but there's plenty of awesome info out there that hunters pay for everyday. Dan Infalt's hunting beast DVDs, his in-the-field workshops, John Eberhart's workshops, etc. I learned a ton from the hunting beast DVDs. Learning from others doesn't replace learning from your personal experiences in the woods but it does shorten the learning curve over all (especially for those of us who don't have a ton of time to put into the woods).

There's no doubt that the Seek One guys have a good system for Urban Hunting. The most valuable thing (in my opinion) is their pitch in getting access to properties. There are some other nuances they've noticed when it comes to deer movement/tactics in urban environments but their pitch is the most valuable in my opinion.
