Central Pennsylvania - 2022 Meet Up

Guys, I have already announced that I am arranging the 3rd Annual central PA meetup in March, date still open. Its already posted on the PA Saddle Hunter Facebook page. But we can use this post to make sure everybody's in the loop.

2020, I had it at Tuscarora state park
2021, I had it at Black Moshannon

Suggestions so far are: Raystown Lake and Ravensburg. Opinions?

In terms of a date... how is March 26?

By the way, we had a guy fall when one sticking last year at the event. It could have been bad because he just missed a large rock. He was getting on top of his first set and had not yet attached his tether when the stick kicked out and he fell sideways.

We're gonna need to make sure everybody's tied in this year.

Nice @John RB! I know some of the norther/western PA guys were looking for a closer event and this might be the ticket for them! Glad to have so many PA guys we need multiple meet ups in different locations to accommodate everyone

@SHF Hunter,
I am catching up on comments. I see the event you have lined up. Great. That's a southeastern location and so do you mind if i share the details on the Southeast PA Saddle Hunter's Facebook page? We have 68 members there and growing. I will still plan on a separate and more central PA event to grab a wider audience. Cool?

I apologize @John RB I don’t have FB so I was unaware when I started this thread. Didn’t mean to step on any toes

No, its all good... i just wanted to let y'all know. Let's see what others say about a March meetup in a more central PA location. It's a longer drive for me, but no problem. The boys from New York saddle hunter will likely be there too.

Hey @John RB not set in stone but figured maybe 9/10am till whenever
Just let me know. I will suggest 10 or even 11 cuz 1) temps are rising 2) provides more time for a drive for those who might be coming a distance and have enjoyed a night out on Saturday (me) .... or those who wanna go to an early church service on Sunday.
