Biting the bullet

Sitting my patrol car. About to leave for shift. Package comes to doorway, I didn’t order anything. Checked my Amazon orders, nothing out for delivery. Go look at package and it’s my pacseat two weeks ahead of schedule. Packed it in unit and will look at it as soon as able.
I’m interested to hear what your first impressions are of it.

The seat is ridiculously awesome. You have no worries @Redbeard with it hitting your legs. The bottom bar comes in the lower position but his literature says to store it in up position. At 5’6” there is no way it can hit my legs. I adjusted seat to be a little further down. It’s literally perfect and super comfy. And how light!!!. Probably helps that I’ve watched all his YouTube videos. Incredible can’t wait to field test it.

Worth the weight and the cost! The quality is there. The only non positive I can say at this point is the paint scraps off extremely easily. This is a non issue though as most people vet tape it and I will likely follow suit. I have a feeling that my saddle is gonna sit out this season. However since it’s a pack frame I could always attach my saddle stuff to it no issues.

Didn’t get to hunt today. Maybe tomorrow. But I am sitting in chair in front yard and comfortable as a bug. First time leaning it against a tree and I think this my preferred method over the read leg. Thought it is nice to have the ability to just pop that leg out. I have a question. I’m looking at wrapping the chair and I have looked at the vet tape option and it seems or rather I wonder about durability. Any experience in how long your vet wrap lasts on stuff? Also thinking about electrical tape because it basically sticks to itself also. Any thoughts or suggestions for wraps?

Vet wrap should last a while on the chair. I've wrapped steps for my ROS and sticks in it and got at a full season out of them and I would think both of them would have more wear than the chair. I personally wouldn't use electrical tape, you would have a sticky mess if you ever wanted to take it off.

Got some vet tape on the way and will take pictures as soon as it’s wrapped up. Looking forward to it being wrapped because the paint just flakes off from looking at it. Other than that I am more than happy with the purchase.

Taped new seat up. Hitting turkey woods tomorrow afternoon for a few hours. But tonight I’ll be around a fire with it.
