The Sladder… ABSOLUTE BEST Climbing method

It looks like a 20'ish rope ladder that's being connected to the tree every 5 feet. Definitely an interesting idea but I'd somehow make it a tangled mess.

Edit: Disregard. I rewatched it and it's got some kind or locking system than disconnects the bottom with each reset.

There's going to lots of questions! Looks pretty awesome!

You could purchase a boat style rope ladder with plastic steps and hook it to a tether to do something similar. If used with a buck squeeze it would be impossible to fall
You could make a simple tree squeeze with a 24" climb rated loop, girth hitch it to one side of your LB and biner it to the other side.

People have climbed with multi-step aiders or rope ladders in the past but, there are a couple things that seem to make this unique. There is a foot loop on both the top and the bottom of the ladder. When he climbs to the top he steps into the foot loop, somehow disconnects the bottom and then just flips the aider so the bottom is now the top and starts climbing again. The only thing I can't figure out is how he detaches the bottom from the top?

Or you could use the linesman rope with a carabiner on each side and hook your bridge into the carabiner. Instead of being stuck on your lineman’s loops the whole climb, you’re on your bridge. Of course the longer the bridge the more comfortable it would be. Hang the rope ladder on a tether high as you can reach, put the ladder inside your linesman rope or bridge then clip into the tree squeeze. Climb as high as the squeez can get to the tether holding the ladder, side step off sit knees to the tree and pull the up and rehang to height

Yea it’s similar to the old Japanese rope climbers. Weldabeast uses a system very very similar to this. It’s pretty neat and doesn’t require much gear to do

Sladder System will be available soon. Weighing 1.4 lbs and the only metal is the Double J Hooks that are coated with Nylon. No additional aiders or line to purchase. It will come with 4 to 5 foot Amsteel Daisy chains on top and bottom. Extenders will be sold separately if you think you might climb bigger trees but they can be kept in your pouch so you don't have excessive line hanging unless you need it. It's very easy to climb around branches and limbs too. Additional videos to come soon.
