To the best of my knowledge Membership is all you need to sign up. At some point the contest will be announced and a registration will commence. You can look back at prior years to get a sense of what happens.
 
I badly need a chance at redemption both here and the timber pimp contest. Last year I bombed due to my neck surgery. I missed archery and our rut… This year I’m all healed up and in bad need of redemption by taking a couple of those “massive” 100 lbs deer that Florida has to offer :sweatsmile:
 
I've taken a back seat from posting but been keeping up with all that is going on. I really enjoyed the contest last year. It was fun to have a team to communicate with weekly and of course it was awesome that TEAM 13 won! Not sure what I'll do this year yet.
 
Since we have to be upstanding ( paid ) members to participate… can we revisit points for Deer taken by any tactic?
Kyler said we aren’t supposed to climb a tree until we find a deer under a tree. It’s all confusing really and people seem to buying up pac seats and buckets

i dont think i can make it out on the opener, but ill be out regardless of temp as soon as i can. though i wont make the wearing shorts in the briars mistakes i made last season

Generally we open the contest signup around the 1st of Sept. and let the signup run about a couple of weeks. Then teams are randomly selected and the fun begins. Don't worry if your season opens before we get teams selected, we'll count the deer taken early. Not finalized yet as we haven't even started discussing this years contest yet but I anticipate the rules will be very similar to last years.

2021 Contest Rules

My team came in 2nd place twice in the last three years so I might be someone you’d want on your team
