Several years ago I made the decision to concentrate on filming hunts with a friend. At that time I sold my TL saddle and all of my accessories and joined the fixed position stand crew. While I enjoyed filming I never could get comfortable in those stands and I told myself when I get back into hunting i'm getting another saddle. Well I made the decision to get back in late this year so I started doing some research and couldn't believe how much this style of hunting has evolved. So I ordered a Kestrel (size 2), Petzl carabiner's, Ropeman ascender's, and off I went. Well 3 short hunts I was lucky enough to harvest my biggest buck to date. Thanks to everyone on hear, while I've never posted I do read a lot of the threads that interest me and your advice and trial and error feedback helped me dial in my Kestrel quick and undoubtedly helped me harvest this deer. Thanks Again
