  • We've been working hard the past few weeks to come up with some big changes to our vendor policies to meet the changing needs of our community. Please see the new vendor rules here: Vendor Access Area Rules

One shot, everyone knows the rules!

From 20 because I did some tuning and haven't checked any farther yet

Is it shooting she's also, I see pink? LOL
I wanted pink feathers but couldn’t find any. I talked to several old timers that swore by them to find their arrows, but who knows? My wife is shooting my dads old Easton arrows from the 90s and they had pink feathers, but he didn’t ever kill a deer with it.

I like pink…. And comfortable enough with my sexuality to say that.

Tell me this fellas…. If three girls wearing sexy half naked dresses at dusk stand in the woods, one green, one red and one hot pink, which one do you notice? If you didn’t say all three… you should just shoot blue feathers

I’ve shot pink fletchings and arrow wrap almost exclusively for 15 years now. I started it before lighted nocks we’re p&y legal and kept it up. My eye definitely tracks an arrow better with them.

This was 25 yards this morning with my compound and the light (575 grain) arrow. I took this shot off my ring of steps wearing my saddle. This was what I think is referred to as the drop shot, having to turn and shoot to the back 180 degrees.

20 yards. a little high for my liking, but i will take it.
Wild horse creek Kestrel longbow. I did tune up the compound as I have a few rut spots where I need more range, but after all this work with the trad gear it feels like cheating. I think i will do one cold shot with the compound before afternoon shooting session and start posting those too to keep me honest

Nope, just want to keep this thread on track. Keep the trash talk coming.

Done

What height do you think? Looks like a fairly level entrance. Would 2” up and back be where you want to be when shooting elevated or do you aim even higher?
The red dot is were I was looking. Shooting three blade broadheads this year, so I try to stay a little farther away from the scapula than the years I’m shooting 2 blades
