Tethrd pack

I may try it out depending on price, but I can see myself considering it too big. I don't need much space.
I agree the compression straps can be a pain in the arse.
Kaitlyn's story was a bit hard to follow, but I'm sure there will be other videos.

Looks like it would work well with predator pack attached to it. Sticks strapped outside the predator pack. Extra layers stuck between the pack and predator pack.

All that customization and she had a mound of crap lashed to the outside three times as wide as she is. When she said “I’m not just saying that I like it because I work with them”, I really kinda felt like she was just saying that.
honestly, I thought I’d watch that video and run right to Mrs. Claus with an updated wish list, but I am shocked and very disappointed that there isn’t really any solution for platform and/or sticks. Itruly thought that would have been #1 on Tethrd’s list, but reduced weight and bulk or increased efficiency does not look at a premium with this offering. Trophyline packs seem miles ahead of this one by comparison. I am not a Tethrd hater either, I’m just not an outright fanboy. I like my gear to work for me, not against me.
imagine that tiny girl walking into the woods with that heap on her back? It was comical.
looks like a GREAT pack for scouting or hunting from the ground, preset tree, or if you are able to find a solution (pred pack? More $$ spent on more ways to NOT use Tethrd’s stuff in stock configuration) for sticks or whatever that doesn’t look like every other DIY grab-go pack we see.
I do like the overall structure of the bag and the pocketing, as well as the molle loops all over. I’d consider purchasing this if I didn’t have to lose real estate for sticks/platform.
maybe some other reviewer will have a better handle on the actual “systems” of running that pack, could totally change my mind.

Definitely seems modular to the products they already sell, but why wouldn’t they do that from a business standpoint.

definitely worried about lack or space for sticks/platform but I think running it with a tethrd predator pack or something similar will give more space and a shelf for gear. But still doesn’t address the stick hauling

Yea her pack and how she packs everything looks to bulky for me, I also have a bad memory and don't like a ton pockets and compartments that I'll have to open all of them to figure out where I put something.

Nothing addresses stick hauling because stick hauling can’t be addressed. Sticks are the problem, not carrying them.

Unless someone makes a stick quiver for lwcg single step sticks. That would be cool. One stick in each “tube” lined with fleece. Slide in and out easy. Strap to anything easy.
I think I was suppose to be working on that wan't I....

I really pack a bandit easily so nothing here I need to have.

You don't need a pack to address hauling sticks. LWCG has solved that riddle. J-hooks. Sticks lock to the platform.

Some frame packs have deep enough nalgene pockets to seat sticks into and then cinch down. A reinforced hole at the bottom of such a pocket to cradle an extended step would be cool. But pack flat sticks are easy enough to strap onto backpacks with good webbing layouts.

Hauling sticks was a major reason I went to a one stick. A single 12" stick can fit just about anywhere on or in that pack.

Really it depends on where and how you hunt. It absolutely isnt even sorta close to working for me hunting on the public I hunt. The private I hunt occasionally though, it might work ok.
Totally valid. My whole-here thing is, Tethrd was built (at least partially and primarily) on the concept of making “mobile hunting” easier, more efficient, more cost-effective and accessible to more average-Jack hunters. The Predator, HYS and SYS, ropes, even the initial packs for predator and one-sticking, all seem to share this motivation to varying degrees of success. I just don’t see that mission statement reflected in this pack.
That also doesn’t mean that a company can’t offer variety. Maybe marketing it as a private-land solution, scouting pack, or offering various bundle configurations with other packs and attachments, will help, and they may already have that planned for all we know.

The pack doesn't look very stack friendly regarding the platform and sticks.

I mean outside of filming equipment (which I don't do) - I personally need a backpack to hold my platform, sticks, and random stuff that I keep stocked inside (bow holder hero clip, calls/lures, food, hoist rope, etc).

Not sure what the price will be on this pack, but I have a feeling it won't be cheap. I'm not a Tethrd hater either - as I use their platform, saddle, and skeletor sticks / HYS strap.

I currently use a Cabela's Elite Scout Pack: https://www.cabelas.com/shop/en/cabelas-elite-scout-pack?ds_e=GOOGLE&ds_c=Cabelas|Shopping|Smart|Proprietary|General|NAud|NVol|NMT&gclid=CjwKCAiApvebBhAvEiwAe7mHSBJAcsyfD1qarJ7YR5MJPi_BnP_kE5BaK8oYqENr3hVfOtQ6jr8QWBoCn64QAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

It's the perfect size and very durable to hold all of the gear that I mentioned. It also doesn't break the bank. Been using it now for two years.
