    How is it going for everyone? I haven’t gotten to pull the trigger yet and it appears they are heading in to lock down. Sitting until 2 today then got to pick up the kids. I’ve seen atleast 11 today a whole lot better than the one yesterday.

    Not 30 seconds after I posted that it got a little wild. A spike was following the doe and I’m not interested in shooting him on this property. I hear a loud crash behind me and I catch a coyote running by. He would walk out in to the corn field and run off with the spike checking a scrape on...

    I’m in the saddle right now, chilly morning but the dry weather is a relief. I had two come in before shooting light. Just had a doe go through the corn at 25 we will see if anything is following her.

    I start my rutcation on Monday, I work one day from then until November 19. Hopefully things start to pick up around here as they have been SLOW with these warm temps. If nothing else a couple of freezer fillers would help us out.

    I’ll be honest I haven’t been able to get out much. But I was able to take the boys out today for the first time and it wasn’t from the saddle. Still loved every minute of them making sounds and having fun in the woods.

    Oct 1 for us here in Michigan, I lost a large piece of pro rate from last year so it’ll mainly be public land for me. And here in MI a spoke is in trouble on public land which means 7 points plus a doe.
