    Green Light for walk in/set up

    I realized a few seasons ago that I make a lot more noise walking in the dark with red or green light. Only white light for me and it makes navigating so much easier. I have never seen it affect deer any differently.

    Does C-IV get softer?

    My C-IV has softened up a little bit, but I will not use anything else I tried Elite last year and it was way more difficult to retrieve, (I think because it is softer it grips the bark more). Anyway the C-IV is very easy to retrieve.

    I use the EWO ultimate 1-Stick and 3 bullman steps. Not sure if I can find anything better. I know a lot of people like the JX3 top step, but IMO it is not near as good as the EWO 1- stick.

    Is one-sticking still a thing?

    I use a JX3 and 1-stick and it is for sure the best way to climb. Over the past 10 days I have hunted 7 and changed trees on average once a day. I will never got back to multiple sticks.

    I used my single shot cva 350 legend in IL from a JX3. Two shots two dead deer I was pretty happy.

    Red dot on Crossbow

    Just wanted to follow up on this post. I shot a doe with my crossbow with the red dot last Friday this was the last few minutes of shooting light, and the doe was at 35 yards. I just put the dot on her and got a perfect shot. Now it is time to get a buck with this set up after rifle season.
