    It's just like @Dope on a Rope post. I don't have any better pics of one in action but I use a 4 to 2 swabisch on the first one and leave the line ran through it so all you have to do is put that part of amsteel around the post and pull it tight and cinch down the hfas

    Get yourself another prussic and use it as a truckers hitch. Been using one like this for 3 seasons and have never had an issue getting it tight

    Not a bad idea. The platform has some spots that are wore through but they might not be structurally damaging. I do have plenty of time to mess around with it before season wouldn't be out anything other than dirty looks from the wife for the "trash" I'm keeping in the garage
