    It makes things easier. Just grab that piece of mainline that’s through the loop to go around the button. Then pull tight and put the other hitch loop(s) over the button. This is a pretty narrow post in my basement so it’s not the best example.

    On smooth and hard bark trees the latitude sticks were atrociously noisy. I thought they set pretty solid though.

    Been eying these and the tree Styx. These I wish they had a little taller standoffs. The Tree Styx I am a little skittish about a carbon stick.

    Twist them to spec to start. If it’s an elite. The spec means notta. Atleast the older models you needed to take twists out of the cables when increasing the DL.

    It’s a saddle platform with a seat to sit on when straddling the tree. No way anyone over 4’6” will be comfortable sitting on that like a regular treestand.
