Pennsylvania Folks: am I missing a license?

Can you still use a buck tag on a doe in the late season? I know you used to be able to use it in any wma on a legal buck or doe after Christmas

    Best (pants) belt? Rope replacement?

I prefer the strapworks with the plastic cam buckle. Cheap lightweight and you can rotate the buckle off to the side easily without unbuckling if it’s digging in at all

How to Cut and Seal the End of Ropes

I put a putty knife in a vise and heat it up red hot with a propane torch it works pretty good for cutting ropes and straps. I will usually put a few wraps of tape in the rope where I want to cut it first.

    Ess clips

I'm looking for something like the plastic webbing clips on the ess. The ones that hold the two panels together

Good cheap knives that don't suck.

I'll give another vote for the Ontario knife company rat series. I have a few rat 2 folders. Another favorite is the cold steel canadian belt knife

    High one lung maybe?

I'd wait two hours you should have really good light by then. Go slow from the last place you seen him, and watch out ahead.

Is this when a ropeman would come in handy?

I use the hand climber as a climbing method and use a ropeman on my tether. I try to minimize having slack in my tether as much as possible.

    Sit Drag

Started with a sitdrag and climbing harness. Tried the game changing mantis. Went back to the sitdrag with a battle belt and no harness. I don't have any plans to use anything else.

Lone wolf hand climber platform bolt modification alternative

I tried angling my platform more and didn't feel it is any improvement. I also don't bother adding any more straps or anything at hunting height. It's stable enough for me as is.

    Frame pack recliner

If I owned a jx3 I'm afraid I would fall asleep too often. I guarantee it is the most comfortable commercial saddle available at this time. I'm more or less just playing around with things. I plan on hunting out of my sitdrag with a battle belt again this season. Two heads are better than one...

    Frame pack recliner

The main benefits I see from this experiment is the ability to have a semi rigid back rest for tree comfort, and having meat packing ability as an integrated part of your system. When I briefly attached my sitdrag to a pop up framepack it felt comfortable enough that I will probably play around...

    Frame pack recliner

Today I took the lineman's out of the battle belt and fished it through a pop up frame. I didn't spend a lot of time with it, but I think it's worth playing with. The shoulder straps seemed like they might get annoying, but the back rest felt nice.

    Belts

I think I remember seeing a belt thread before, but when I searched belt it brought up almost every thread in the history of the site. I lost the belt I was using to hold up my pants when hunting, and want to replace it. My normal belt rubs my beer gut when saddled. I was using a strap from a...
