    Upgrade Plan

I have done a ton of research and keep coming back to Latitude Classic 2. I think this is a nice upgrade to my Tethrd Mantis (med), which I feel is too small for me. I just can't get the Mantis as comfortable as I think I should be able to; it is usable but I am never going to be able to be...

I saw that yesterday actually and was tempted! Trying to do a little more research and read reviews on the Classic 2.

Thank you! I am glad to know I'm not the only one who gets a little wigged out!

    New and not a fan...yet

I played with the saddle a little more yesterday and found some additional comfort. It helped to lower the waist belt a few inches, especially for sitting. But, there is no way I'll ever be able to be still in this thing. I would say it is useable but not really comfortable. I'm looking for...

    New and not a fan...yet

Thanks, I'm working my way through some yt videos on saddle comfort! I don't want to give up just yet! The more videos I watch, the more I'm convinced my saddle is too small and that is creating some discomfort.

    New and not a fan...yet

I bought my first saddle a few weeks ago. The saddle is a lightly used Tethrd Mantis (M). I have only had the saddle on a tree twice so far but I have to say, I'm not a fan of the whole thing so far. I can't tell if it is the saddle or just my unfamiliarity? Below are a few things I'm...

    Downsizing/Simplifying Guidance

I am new to saddle hunting but have been mobile-hunting w/ a stand for several years. I use WE Stepps with a "knaider" and "swaider". I have a diy lineman's belt w Ropeman1 and a Tethrd Tether at this time. I would like to start assembling and then practicing to transition to rappelling...

    Wild edge stepp lovers

How many have tried the Griper from G3D? I don't hate the bag since I only use 3-4 Stepps most of the time anyways, but I do think I'd rather have the steps on my hip or on my lower back for the climb sometimes.

Has anyone found a good method to attach the swaider to the step so that it doesn't slide on the cross-bar? This is the only thing that bothers me about the swaider really once I got use to it. I definitely felt uneasy with the swaider at first though.

This site and all you folks are next level! I started stalking here when I wanted to go lighter with my hang-on stands for public land. Mainly I was looking for climbing methods and gear ideas thinking, "I'll never be a saddle hunter." Now, I think I have to take the next step and try a...
