    I tried to make one work. Even with a ratchet straps I couldn't make it stable enough for my liking due to the short lever length of the hinge. Also there was a pretty good rattle that would need to be dealt with.

    The V-Method--Vincent Calvo

    Do a search of "no stick method" and you will find some good video's that talk about the limitations. This method has been around for years and never gained much support because of the difficulties. I personally find that anytime I try to use a multi step aider it sucks the NRG out quicker...
