    This saddle is what I started with back around 2004....That strap was sketchy on slick trees like poplar - but I killed 2 deer from it with longbow so it worked and - I just didn't know any better anyway lol

    I ordered the trad tracker yesterday...Hope to see how it works on game this season....I do like the thought that even if the string breaks, it should get you down the deer exit trail enough for a blood trail to start, if there's going to be one, and also some additional intel on direction game...

    One of my climbing options this year is my cut down LW climber base, with the sit-n-climb top for ease and quietness of climbing. I don't like my climber dragging up the tree when I climb and the sit-n-climb top, which weighs about 6 lbs, allows me to manipulate the base much better and quieter...

    I have that problem too - already passed on a big doe last Friday as just as I was getting into position for the shot I hear a little crunch, crunch, crunch behind her and look back and here comes this little spotted fawn.....lol...Does are still in trouble though, just a little later or a doe...

    Skeletors' Climbing Height

    I have a 3 step aider for the bottom stick and then use 3 more sticks with no aiders. I get about 16 - 17 feet. I don't stretch out the distance between sticks. Some of the numbers I see some guys posting on how high they get(not on this thread) is hard to believe.....Cover is more important...

    Misquito bug control.......

    Ever since I started using permethrin on my clothes, including on my hat and face mask, I don’t have problems with skeeters. I don’t want to breathe in whatever the thermacell is putting out so have never tried that….
