    Stone Glacier Avail Users

Thanks for the reply. I guess it’s pretty noisy. I see these other bags that are between 4 and 5 pounds. That’s to heavy. I’m pack drunk from looking.

Looking for opinions on this pack. I don’t carry much stuff and have a dedicated meat pack. I need to carry a predator platform, aluminum climbing spurs and a water bottle holder with rappelling gear. My perfect idea ( I’m a sure delusional fantasy) is to carry the spurs inside the pack...

    Bashlin Pad Recommendations

Thanks for the replies. The 140DS pads look like an affordable option to replace the 130 “L” pads that I have now. They appear to have a better sleeve to contain the shank in place. I hate shelling out $225 for a set of pads for a 3 minute climb and rappel out.

I have used the higher end insulated Lacrosse but those neoprene uppers don’t hold up well. The ankles are the first place they start breaking down...

Rubber boots / ROS / insoles help

We walk miles of flooded timber where we hunt. I’ve always used Lacrosse boots or Dan hip boots with Lacrosse bottoms. I am thinking that they might not be the most comfortable boot while using ROS. Has anyone tried an insole to firm up the bottom of a rubber boot that would help elevate some...
